"KB" surpassed all of my expectations, which were none in the beginning!  You see, he was what I call a sleeper- in that I put him on a bottom cage and didn't pay much attention to him for the first 3.5 months of his life for it was his sister who really drew my attention.  However, at age 4 months, KB's full potential became obvious and off to the shows he went at 5 months- were he won BIS at his debut.  Four more showings would follow that first, along with three more BIS, losing only BIS to his caviary mate, Galas Aberdeen.  He won every Breed class he was entered in and really left a mark on every judge who had the chance to feel him.  He show career went out with a bang by winning Double BIS at the Michigan Cavy Congress on 7/10/04 with over 300 cavies entered.

After the untimely passing of my Galas Opus, I decided to cut KB down so that he could take over breeding duties.  Opus was a very hard pig to follow, but KayBe certainly is up to the challenge!
