  • His name says it all.  He is my Opus

  • I knew I had something special with Opus when he turned 2 mos- And, at that time, I nicknamed him, "Killer".  Little did I know that he would live up to that name literally, both on the show table and grooming stand ("ouch!")!  I can only hope he continues to be as strong-willed in the breeding pen!

  • I feel honored to have been the breeder of such a fine peruvian.  He is by far the best peruvian that Galatea has ever produced.

  • The hardest part about having had such an outstanding representation of the breed, who raised the Gala standard into the next galaxy, is that now all my up-and-comers just don't measure up!  I find myself doing a lot more culling these days-LOL!

Judges' comments about Opus:

  • "I cannot find any faults with him."

  • "He is the best peruvian that I have ever had my hands on."

  • "This is a really nice peruvian."
